Reggae Sumfest 2017 will make it 25 years since the first installment of the world’s greatest Reggae festival on earth. Did you hear that correctly? 25 years!

With some well needed changes that took place last year, the Reggae Sumfest brand has lots to celebrate – one of which includes a new partnership deal with Pepsi Cola Jamaica.

In an interview about the new partnership, Downsound Entertainment‘s top boss – Josef Bogdanovich – the man who not only brought a fresh face but also a fresh experience to the highly anticipated annual event, stated he thinks “this speaks volumes on Pepsi’s belief in the festival and the re-energized direction it is now. I feel good that an international brand like Pepsi supports reggae music and Reggae Sumfest, and I think they are a part of the Corporate Community who are now seeing the value and positive contribution of reggae music and festivals here at home”.

This sentiment was shared by marketing manager of Pepsi Cola Jamaica, Mitch Watson, who stated he believes “music remains an essential component of the brand’s DNA” and it therefore seems “only fitting for the brand to continue this long held relationship with the leading music festival in the country”.
