It has been 14 years since Cherry Marshall and Melony Gregory opened the first Dutch Pot Jamaican Restaurant at 111 North State Road 7 in Plantation. In this environment, many Caribbean/Jamaican restaurants have “kicked the bucket” but Dutch Pot’s reasonably priced, freshly prepared, delicious Jamaican food has stood the test of time. Maybe another factor contributing to success is their commitment to using the famous iron pot, also called a “Dutchie” to maintain the Jamaican essence of home-cooking.Dutch Pot Dinner

With much flair and community leaders on hand, Friday, October 17 marked the Official Grand Opening of the 4th Dutch Pot at  7468 West Commercial Boulevard in Lauderhill.  In true Dutch Pot tradition, customers will continue to be treated to traditional Jamaican dishes, snacks, desserts and beverages at this newest location, in an warm, friendly island style environment.
